[Help] Upgrading basic M17xR3 LCD to a 3d display

Hello,

I have had my m17xr3 since 2011, and the specs are as follows:

i7-2720QM

GTX460M

16GB RAM

I would like to upgrade the screen to support 3D, and to get rid of that awful Optimus nonsense.

Do I just need the screen? What about other necessary components? I've done some research but would like to know for sure before I purchase. The GPU is stock, and I had the option of getting 3d when i originally purchased it. Thanks for any help.
